An original 1970's Kohinoor swivel armchair and matching footstool by HK of London.
HK furniture was founded by Howard Keith, and are a high quality award winning furniture manufacturer, having supplied furniture for the QE2, Marlborough House and the Royal train in the Queen's jubilee year.
The chair and footstool (a rare find) have been fully restored and are a stunning set.
All chrome parts and the solid aluminium base have been cleaned/polished and are in very good vintage condition, with only light pitting in a couple of places as shown in the photos. The chair swivels with ease.
The frames have been completely stripped and reupholstered from scratch using the highest quality materials.
The fabric we have used is a lovely mustard wool from Bute's tweed collection. A sample of the fabric can be provided upon request.
This is an extremely generously sized set which will have great presence in any room, so please do check the dimensions provided below.
The original "HK" label has been retained and placed in its original position on the underside.
We have two more Kohinoor swivel armchairs (one high back and one low back) awaiting restoration also available.
