A magnificent 1970's Howard Keith HK Diplomat sofa designed by John Home for HK Furniture (London).

Other advertised examples of this model of sofa state they were famously owned by Princess Anne (and Lord Edward Davenport!).

Our sofa has been completely reupholstered from scratch using only the highest quality materials - a monumental task but absolutely worth the effort in our view!

As with all our upholstered items, the sofa now complies with the UK Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations

Upon completion of the sale, we will also provide a photo of the stripped frame to evidence the work undertaken.

The choice of fabric for such an imposing sofa was obviously crucial, and we are absolutely thrilled with the end look we have managed to achieve using this luxury velvet from Kvadrat's "Matrix" collection, colour 0352. The composition of the fabric is 100% Trevira CS and is beautiful to touch, but it's also very durable and practical, scoring 60,000 on the Martindale test.

A sample of the fabric can be provided upon request.
