A beautifully designed and extremely high quality set of eight model 532 dining chairs designed by Knud Faerch for Slagelse Mobelvaerk, circa 1960's.

We are unable to find a single other example of this particular model, they really are exceptionally rare. Fortunately the chairs are stamped to the underside with the maker/model number. They are similar to the model 343 chairs by the same designer/maker, but the model 532 chairs have a different base/seat design, and there is no vertical join in the centre of the back support.

The chair frames are made from solid teak and are in excellent condition.

The seats have been fully stripped and reupholstered in a dark grey fabric from Kvadrat's Hallingdal range. The colour and texture of the wool is a great match for the frames. A sample of the fabric can be provided upon request.

As with all our upholstered items, the chairs now comply with the UK Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations.
