An extremely stylish 1960's sofa designed by Grete Jalk for France & Son, Denmark.

The framework is constructed from beautiful teak which has amazing grains and is in excellent original condition. There are a few minor marks/dints on close inspection as one would expect on a piece of furniture of this age, and there were a couple of minor splits in a couple of places that we have filled/repaired (only visible on very close inspection as shown in a couple of the photos), but certainly nothing that in any way detracts from the overall beauty of the item and are mentioned only for completeness. The sofa is of course structurally completely solid.

We have carefully cleaned, nourished, oiled, waxed and polished the wood ensuring it retains its natural beauty, but to give it a lovely glow once again.

The original springs are all still in tact and having been given a good clean, are in like new condition.

The original sprung cushions have been fully re-upholstered and finished in a stunning teal wool from Kvadrat's Coda collection. A sample of the fabric can be provided upon request.
